ESAB sponsors DVS Congress 2011, Hamburg
ESAB, a world-leading manufacturer and supplier of welding and cutting equipment and consumables, is sponsoring the DVS Congress 2011, which takes place in Hamburg, Germany, from 27-29 September 2011. Alongside the annual Congress will be the DVS Expo exhibition, which is a new innovation for 2011.
The Congress and exhibition, organised by Messe Essen in conjunction with the DVS (German Welding Society), will be attended by many of the world's foremost experts in joining, cutting and coating technologies. All will benefit from the highest level of networking, knowledge transfer and exchange of experiences.
Eight separate national and international conferences and research colloquiums make up the DVS Congress 2011:

As well as sponsoring the Congress, ESAB will present two lectures on the subject of wind turbine construction. The company will additionally have a stand in the DVS Expo, where it will highlight its expertise and capability in welding and cutting processes for constructing offshore wind turbines.
Experts from the fields of welding, cutting and surface coating are invited to attend the DVS Congress 2011. Organised by Messe Essen and the DVS, the Congress and exhibition are also supported by the ASM Thermal Transfer Spray Society (TSS) and the International Institute of Welding (IIW).
