ESAB Cutting Systems designed the world's largest cutting machine (year 2000) to Meyerwerft, Germany, comprising a 28m wide Telerex TXB 25000 panel machine, a Numorex 6500 trimming machine and associated environmental equipment. The automation level and the required precision were on the edge of what was technically feasible. ESAB Cutting Systems obtained this major order on the basis of the successful earlier deliveries in which they proved to be able to supply Meyer Werft with custom made cutting solutions.
